DEBATE: Are Organizations like NASA, CERN, ISRO, RSA, ESA slowing down the pace of Research implementation in everyday life?

DEBATE: Are Organizations like NASA, CERN, ISRO, RSA, ESA slowing down the pace of Research implementation in everyday life?

Dr. Ashish: Judge of the Debate:
I'm not against these organizations but, against the slower pace of implementation of research for the benefit of humankind.  They are great at their own way and in their own domain.

I've my own experiences with all these organizations, besides following different opinions of the participants:

Candidate 1. CERN: I've send my research to CERN, about Quark Based Technology, even yesterday I got the answer on International Call that you've come with proper procedure. I said since 2004 I'm sending you email, why can't it be that email forwarded to Chief Scientists so that I can discuss with them, otherwise how the research will progress? The switch board, has warning not to forward such calls....I think they are doing their jobs and research is GIVEN LESS IMPORTANCE.
Candidate 2. Same case with NASA.
Candidate 3. Same with Harvard Business School, California Management Review, and even same with Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad, -Vikalpa, when they rejected my Infosys Case Study saying they won't get value addition and readership from it, as it's a Indian Organization and surprisingly for 1 year I got at least 200 emails everyday from world wide when that case study was published.By now, the emails have crossed the subscription of Harvard Business Review, California Management Review and IIM-Vikalpa put together.
Candidate 4. Same case with ISRO, they don't listen to non-Scientific community like me.
Candidate 5. Same case with Microsoft, IBM, TCS, Wipro, and even Infosys, when they rejected my chance to develop new algorithm for anti-virus, and still anti-viruses are not that strong as that algorithm is not developed. Surprisingly, Infosys, interviewed me and after 3 stages they didn't had a expert to interview me since last 7 years. Wipro rejected my candidature as I'm not from IIT, same is the case with Tata's. IBM thought, though I happened to be author books in the field of ICT, but... I've no working knowledge of developing software and my 11 books in IT field are .....and are of no use.
Candidate 6. Russian Space Agency (RSA) (Roscosmos), could not read English and they out-rightly deleted my email and put it on spam, by now, I hope.
Candidate 7. European Space Agency (ESA)/ NASA, CERN, Wipro, IBM all think that one person cannot be expert in so many fields and they feel I should expertise in one domain.
Candidate 8. Even many organization where they indirectly interviewed me, have same opinion, how can you say that you can file at least 1000 patents in a year? My indirect question to them, is, by now allowing me to patent (All patent offices is great in India), human kinds are losing chance to develop new technologies, as those ideas may not be generated again, and we may lose those technologies for ever, or may be for few million years from now.

My answer is creativity has no end and every person can be that much creative.  Thus, by putting red tap-ism these all organizations are slowing don the pace of research reaching to the common man.

Candidate 1: Another important point it why after moon landing it is taking 40 years to go to MARS, it means research was slowed down....By now, we should have landed on MARS.

Candidate 7: Are these agencies becoming ivory tower or are the scientists shown the gilded cage, or are these organization becoming money spinning agencies,.... I've no answer, but it's worth debating.

I'm not against these organizations but, against the slower pace of implementation of research for the benefit of humankind. They are great at their own way and in their own domain.

I've located at least 1000 places in India where smaller damns could be built on small / big rivers

I've located at least 1000 places in India where smaller damns could be built on small / big rivers

It could be Himalayas, where I'm living today. It could be Sahyadris, where I lived in the past. It could be Vindhyachal where I lived in the past. It could be Satpuda Ranges, where I lived in the past.

Thus, the heavy rains that is swiping away lives and properties today, it's water could have been tapped and could have been used in a year when less rain situation could be there in future. I don't know why this, as well as Ganga-Kauveri Canal, and many such projects are called the idealistic situation, when it's possible to tap rain water in many ways. Once Indian population is 1.5 billion, at that time also it could be useful, otherwise contaminated water, is what people would be drinking.....

On same damns even the electricity can be produced.

I've seen one village one big water storage/ tank, been implemented at several places, hope this also could be done in future, it will generate lot of employment if done ethically.

Why not whole earth mission to Mars, instead of USA or Russia or China or India, by 2025 AD?

Why not whole earth mission to Mars, instead of USA or Russia or China or India, by 2025 AD?

It looks foolish to me if competition is there, when there is not even a breakthrough.

Though I agree that with different efforts multiple technologies would be developed still, a broader though would help the whole mankind, is what I feel. Of course, left to the rest of the world to take their own decision.

Some time back I said same thing about GYM, i.e Google-Yahoo-Microsoft, when they were trying for cut-throat competition.

Please note, we're having children's technology at present and not major player in the Universe, till we reach more than 100 planets and if we keep fighting like children, on our own planet, then, we'll die our own death, foolishly and will lose the Juggernaut of progress.

Also, Gone are the days when one country (USA or USSR or China or India) or company (NASA or RCA or ISRO or ESA or ..) says they only have the knowledge or technology or any other resources, all have it and hence all should try for our own Moon, Mars, Titan, Europa, Pluto and beyond our solar system and galaxies. It's even foolish not to think on this thought process, as we need to survive, with our human efforts, apart from backings from the God.

Debate: Research is not the priority in Indian Universities

Debate: Research is not the priority in Indian Universities

Opinion 1:

1. Government through UGC trying hard and lot of efforts have brought better results, Micro-satellite from Private Universities is an example.
2. Students do lot of research and funding agencies are coming forward, AGV, Robots for particular purpose are few projects, to tell you.
3.  Research can be "Delta" addition, should not be always big bang, so slowly we are moving ahead.
4. At least you have to agree that there are lot of conferences happening in collaborations with AICTE, UGC and they bring out lot of research materials.
5. Budgets have increased and documentation shows, there is improvement in the research culture in India, few universities filed 100's of patents.(He went on to win the debate)

Opinion 2:
"My foot. I'm a Professor, and one of the University offered me a profile of Vice-Chancellor and they wanted me to look at maximizing the Profit. Instead, I said, if allow me to file 10 patents every year and let me do my research I'll come. Later, there was no message from them. Education has become a business in India and have all the nexus, except the Research. Even if they do some research, that's hopeless as compared to world standards. It includes the top brass institutes. Tell me how many Noble prizes, we Indias have won?".........

Opinion 3:
"India requires 120000 PhD's per year, as China have done, where as we're getting hardly 5000 PhD and out of them 90% cut-copy-paste. Rest I agree with opinion 2."

Opinion 4:
"It's a nexus boys, how to get grants? Rest you understand and I'm with opinion 2. Also, what documentation you are talking? They can be manipulated, I've seen it and experienced it and I'm working with top ranked Indian Institute".

The Debate was hotting up and I'd to interfere and bring out the best among all the views.

Debate: Are GMAT, GRE, IELTS, IIT-JEE, IAS, ICA, SAT, TEL, TOEFL, CLAT, AIEEE, GATE test your intelligence or whether you've mastered the format of exams?

Debate: Are GMAT, GRE, IELTS, IIT-JEE, IAS, ICA, SAT, CLAT, AIEEE, TOEFL, GATE test your intelligence or whether you've mastered the format of exams?

It was a worth debate.

One opinion was, it's just a format. Otherwise, lot of coaching would not have been there.
Another opinion was, even mastering the format also requires intelligence, as those who practice more and master it crack the exams well.....

One genius said, "I cracked the exams, but, didn't last as a IAS cadre, as corruption  overshadowed our job. I left it after few years in Services."

One CLAT fellow said, it's a format, for those, who have practicing parents and grandparents and who have heard the terminology since early child hood.

Many of my friends scored 100% in GRE, and TOEFL, TEL even I scored higher, and I felt it's a format that rules for 5 years, 3 years, or 1 year or the time the exam committee decides.

I know, about MAT, SNAP and such Management entrance tests, they are having routine questions.

Even Board Exams like SSC, HSC also have format. Many start practicing 2 years in advance, any how left to the individual minds, how they perceive it.

Debate continued.
Due to millions of students appearing, it seems to be the best pattern at present, was conclusion, the student, who put this point was the winner.

How bacterias talk?:

In another article, you think it's your body, but this scientist thinks you are full of bacterias:
One scientist says, your body is covered with 99% bacteria.
This reminds me about the chapter of Sant Ramdas. He claims while writing- "While you live in your house, there are other insects and animals like cocroches, ants, spiders, rats, etc. living in your house and claim that the same house also belongs to them". Amazing.

Humanity prevails over borders, barriers, hate and duality

Humanity prevails over borders, barriers, hate and duality

Latest case: Doctors successfully, operate Pakistani Patient in India
http://www.thehindu.com/news/article3796273.ece
In past also, I have seen, in Nagpur, lot of Pakistani got these operations done. Nagpur being central city in India, got access by all commutation means, is approachable. It has one of the biggest Hospital in the world, the Government Medical College, and lot of world class private hospitals. In fact, even citizens from USA, UK and Germany also get their operation done for their cheaper cost and world class services. I'm not saying it as my sisters, in laws are Doctors, but, it's in news all the times. Mumbai, Delhi, and other big cities got over crowded hence, Nagpur is relatively small but world class experience for them till date. God knows, Nagpur could be the biggest city in the world in future being centrally located and has all chance to grow, unlike other cities in India. In fact, I claim, hospitals in Nagpur are not less than any other world class hospitals in the world. In fact, the Doctors like my elder cister and Engineers like me and my younger sister, got so groomed in Nagpur that if they go out of their city, they offer better services and they are valued for their services to humanity. For Doctors, any patient is a patient, for Engineers any Project is a project, we do it with full might and ethics. My other friends are also like that. One of my fiends, who has big hospital says we are not less than any best Doctors in the world. One of my Engineer friend also claims that we are not less than any best institution in the world. True, it's my experience. Ok.
One of our friend from USA, had a calculations. If he got operated in USA, it would have costed him $30000, if he got operated in India in Nagpur, it were just $10000 at same services. Then, why not got operated in Nagpur and for other $10000 go to places in India and then go back to USA?
He did it. He said, "To hell with who is the best, East or West, Russia or USA, India or Pakistan, Chinese or Japanese, German or French, UK or France, North Korea or South Korea, Argentina or Great Britain, etc. where I get human services that's the best spot." Hats off to him.
Thus, humanity prevails.

About Duality/ Spiritual case:
It's not news by now that Ajmer Dargah/ Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, has been visited by Pakistan's President, when in chair. Many go to Kaba, .....and Haj pilgrimage is the best example for that, people from many countries do it every year, after year.

It's not a news, that, Presidents of many nations offer prayers in Church/Cathedrals,.... @Rome/UK/USA, etc. places.

It's not a news that citizens from many nations offer their prayer at Char Dham, Thirupathi Balaji, Varanasi's Kashi Vishwanath, and Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Mata Vaishnao Devi, etc. It's happening from time immemorial/ since ages.

Similarly, people go to Pagodas, in Burma, Temples in Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore. A Hindu goes to Dargah, Christian goes to Dargah, a Muslim goes to Saibaba temple, and any mixed version is possible. I've seen it, experienced it and my friends too have experienced it.
Thus, humanity and spirituality do not accept borders, barriers, hate and duality.

EVEN IF HUMANBEING ESTABLISHES ITS FEET ON ANY OTHER PLANET OR GALAXIES, IT WILL HOLD TRUE, IT'S UNIVERSAL, and WILL BE MULTIVERSAL TRUTH. IT'S ALREADY BEEN PREDICTED/PROCLAIMED IN 11th CHAPTER OF BHAGAVAD GEETA BY LORD SHRIKRISHNA. LET'S MOVE FORWARD AND NOT BACKWARD.

Debate on, what should be the Qualifications of the politicians and leaders, those who lead the countries

Debate on, what should be the Qualifications of the politicians and leaders, those who lead the countries:

Please read:
"National"*= That particular nations, any Nation like India or USA or Russia or China or Japan or UK or France or Australia or Canada or New Zealand, etc.

Idealistic Approach:
1. National* Sports Minister: Minimum Gold Medallist from Olympics, or Asiad or Any Continental level games or may have won the European cup Football or, the Gold medals in the games like Commonwealth + Diploma in Political Governance for getting results and implementing the national plans+ 1 year military training in their respective countries + Some 15 years experience + may not be more than 50 years old
2. National Education Minister: Minimum Qualification Ph.D. + Diploma in Political Governance for getting results and implementing the national plans + 1 year military training in their respective countries + Some 15 years experience + may not be more than 50 years old
3. National Health Minister: Minimum Qualification BAMS, MBBS, BHMS, BDS, BPT, etc. + Diploma in Political Governance for getting results and implementing the national plans + 1 year military training in their respective countries + Some 15 years experience + may not be more than 50 years old
4. National Home Minister: Minimum Qualification Ph.D. in political science/ history of that nation/ military services + Diploma in Political Governance for getting results and implementing the national plans + 1 year military training in their respective countries + Some 15 years experience + may not be more than 50 years old

7. National External Affairs Minister: Minimum Qualification Ph.D.  in External Affairs+ Diploma in Political Governance for getting results and implementing the national plans + 1 year military training in their respective countries+ Some 15 years experience + may not be more than 50 years old
8. Prime Minister and President should be well qualified as mentioned above, have masses behind them, and each parson in the country should vote on an electronic machine for the selection of them, along with the parliamentarians, person having the majority should be the person in the PM or President's office.
9. .......................

Opposite views\Counter Views:
1. Qualified person may not be able to deal with rogues
2. Qualified people may not have inclination to politics
3. Qualified + Experience person will try to go for multi million job in corporate
4. Politics is all together different ball game
5. What about political protocols and etiquette, that, has to be groomed from early age
6. Governance and Result oriented approach may not work in politics
7. Broad minded approach may not work in politics

Golden Middle Path, with combination of above both approaches:
The Debate continued and no one was putting down, both sides, very strong and then, I had to put the middle golden path before them. Everyone agreed as idealistic approach would kill the revolution, everyone felt, at the same time going away from ideal will also kill the system, everyone agreed.

Let's make things better to best to excellent in this world, let's bring heaven on earth. This is relevant looking at the global situation and today happens to be Independence day of India, hence, this fuel for thoughts, that we discussed 20 years ago in one debate.

Still, the Future will remain unknown (poem)

The Future will remain unknown,
Though, you have all the forecasting technologies with you,
All the horoscopes with you,
All the things favourable to you,
OR all the things unfavourable to you.
Future will remain unknown,
Nothing is forever,
but future remains unknown
Everything is the past may be known,
Or Nothing is the past is known,
Still, Future will remain unknown.
You, might pretend god
You, might show you are this or that,
You, might hide yourself,
You, might become glittering star, known to everyone,
Still, Future will remain unknown.
You might be powerful, rich, or poor or nothing
Still, Future will remain unknown.
You might be this or that,
Still, Future will remain unknown…..
Even if God gives you all powers,
Still, Future will remain unknown.
Even if you do the meticulous planning,
Still, the Future will remain unknown.
It’s not so amazing,
It’s so amazing,
That, Future remains unknown.

Work is Worship continues, and continues

Work is Worship continues, and continues

Case 58:
"Sirji, are you some Baba or Swami to guide us?"K.
"Babaji, ki jay." V.
"No need. Modern Baba, have just a common man's life. You can't distinguish between, a Baba or swami or a saffron cloths baba-Sanyasi/Fakir/Monk. Why do, the realized soul requires such, cloths and pomp and show off?" S.
"Then why others do it?" K.
"See, boy, you can't stop the age old and trusted methods, either to convince people for spiritual exaltation, at the same time, the methods adopted. In fact, the cloths describes from which "domain", he is. " S.
"Also, from names also you can distinguish, from where the Baba or Swamijis are coming. Ex. The suffix of Giri, Anand, ...tells you, which trusted path that Babaji has followed to reach this pinnacle of Baba level." S
"Another aspect is hierarchy among the Babas, Fathers, Fakirs, etc. is also there, the best examples, as you are aware, Arch bishop, Pope, etc." S.
"Now, tell us, how can we implement our work is worship? We are students of Engineering." K.
"See boy, Engineering is a noble profession only if you construct the bridges and vehicles and machines, when, you build it for benefits of society, but, it can be destructive as you know it. Hence, follow that benefiting path all the times. Otherwise you know, one small mistake in pass word, it could a "dot" i.e. ".", and the pass-word becomes wrong and everything goes wrong. " S
"Jiyo, sirji, what an example, what an observation?" K
"Isn't it too difficult to follow?" K
"Tell me what is so easy in this world. Don't you remember, before you started walking, you fell down a million times?" S.
"Yes, sir." K
"Then why are you bothered? Keep walking, pursuing your studies, offer everything to God, practicing early and starting early can take you to that destiny". S.
"Sir, teachers, may misguide us, some times, then, how to trust?" K.
"Take it granted, teachers are noble, those who are not, are not teachers." Sadguru.
"How about this world, sirji, where is it going?" K.
"Destiny." S.
"At least tell us where is it going, haven or hell? You might be able to see it, we know it."K.
"This, is martya lok, it doesn't go to haven or hell, but hangs in between." S.
"You are indomitable Sirji."K.
"In fact, I get most dominated, being noble all the times, and as I want to live a normal life of common man." S.
"Why don't you disclose to the world that you're that holy baba?" K
"Why, to bring millions to follow me? Why, should I not tell them, the God they are searching is within them, in fact, they are it, just realize it?" S.
"This world, will not follow you until you disclose? " K
"Let is be, but, I've my messengers to make it to public, what I wanted to disclose." S.
